Stolen Moment

Stolen Moment

A Chapter by therisa
"

An expanded and edited version, of my poetic response to, Willweb's poem, "Unravels". http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/Willweb/1458040/

"
A longing
To fall deep
Into your embrace
Of pure joy
Without any guilt.

Stripping the soul
Of all worldly cares
For a brief moment
Of time.

To breathe in
Your heavenly perfum
Among the roses
And magnolias.

Knowing
This moment
Is fleeting
Between us.

Like the Springtime
Cherry blossoms.

But
Worth every second
I can steal
To hold you.

Within
My loving embrace.
