Killer Headache

Killer Headache

A Chapter by therisa
"

An expanded and edited version, of my poetic response, to TL Boehm's poem, "Haunted". http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/TL-Boehm/1160492/

Sigh.

These
Are the mornings.

Which
One finds themself
Begging for
A quick release.

Knowing
It's a long way off
Before its merciful
Arrival.

As the throbbing
Ratchets itself
Up the pain index.

Until
Passing out
Is a blessing.
