Sense Of Injustice

Sense Of Injustice

A Chapter by therisa
"

An expanded and edited version, of my poetic response, to Frieda P's poem, "~Twice Forsaken". http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/friedapickle/1168635/

"
Have stood
Upon the edge
Of the ledge.

Between life
And death.

Waiting for
That damned zephyr
To push me
Over.

Knowing
The desperation
Of the soul
For a moment of peace.

When
Mortally wounded
By a love one.

Closest
To the heart.
