Stuck, In A MomentA Chapter by therisaAn expanded and edited version of my poetic review of Momzilla's poem, "Painted Pictures Hung Upon the Wall" http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/MomzillaNC/1411962/A brief moment By the brush strokes Of an artist Long since Moved on. Upon a canvas Of cloth hide Or wooden panel. Unlike A photograph The subject's soul Is free To roam the room. Partaking As awe is Conveying And yet A sense of incompleteness Exists In wanting more But unable to get it. Although We'll never see This reaction For the painting is Trapped. Within a time bubble Never to escape Without destroying What stands Before us. As the painting Slowly fades away In our memories.
