Ecstasy

Ecstasy

A Chapter by therisa

A brief glimpse
Nothing more
Of what life is
Meant to be.

Where love
And compassion
Belong.

Intertwined
Between our hearts
Most delicate weave
Of gold and silver.

Glistening
For all
To see
Our devotion.

Like the rising sun
In the dawn sky
Proclaiming its glory
With these magnificent colours.

A daily reminder
Of our love
To each other.

Thanks, Jerald, so am I.
That is a beautifully crafted poem therisa.

Intertwined
Between our hearts
Most delicate weave
Of gold and silver.

Thank you, Icelandicblue. This came, out of the midnight blue, for me.
Beautiful! Short but sweet and I loved your use of metaphors.

Thank you, Abigail. Not my usual topic, which I write my poetry about.
