How many deaths

Will it take

Before you realize

More support

Is needed?

As you pussyfoot it

Around this issue

Trying to placate

Your core supporters

Of conservative voters.

Creating two classes

Of citizenship

In the province of Alberta.

One

For heterosexuals

And the other

LGBT.

Losing a generation

To the mounting pressure

Of being different.

Like it or not

The times are

Achangin'.

Leaving you

Behind.

As a relic

From the past

Out of touch

With today's needs.

Just hope

No one dies.

As you try

To balance

Your moral values

With the LGBT children

Seeking support

And understanding.
