Life's Little Ironies

Life's Little Ironies

A Poem by therisa
"

Just doing, I don't what.

"
Almost 4 years
Since the last time
I have felt this like.

Living a life
Worth nothing.

While
Not suicidal.

I do find myself
Falling downwards
Without a safety net.

Vaguely hoping
Someone will save me
Before I go splat
On the concrete floor.

Road kill is
So hard to remove
From one's floor
Once dried.
