Entered The SerpentA Poem by therisaMy journey to see the dietitian.Officials say These subway cars Will increase The traffic flow. As the mechanical Silver snake arrives At the subway station Spewing forth passengers. And yet I find myself Battling an anxiety attack Paralyzing me To the platform. Letting three trains go Due to crowding And my anxiety Before boarding. Even then It's a struggle Not to turn around And flee To my apartment. Just five stops away From my destination Of the dietitian's office.
