No JusticeA Poem by therisaFerguson, Mo.From afar I watch this Unfold before me. As a young man Is killed In an exchange Between him And the police. While Some protest In a peaceful manner. Others Don't care Just wanting to destroy Whatever they can. Tearing apart The very community Which their actions Are supposed to support. Using whatever excuse They can cling to. Whether It's the death Of a young black man. Or the failure Of the grand jury To find reason For the police officer To be charged In this senseless death. Realizing How lucky Canada has been To dodge this bullet Which racks the US. Knowing This could happen Here Too.
