Dark MutteringsA Poem by therisaRelease some darkness.A road taken At random Without realizing it Until too late. A dream dreamt Which tortures One's soul In an endless loop. Hope A four letter word Uttered by people As a curse word. Faith An epithet used To deride the dreamer And their aspirations. As the soul flaps Like a tattered flag In the wind. Barely Hanging on By mere threads To the body. Seeking release Which never come To those Who want it.
