Untitled (July 27, 2014)A Poem by therisaHaving a hypersensitive body.Does a body exist Which isn't sensitive To everything Around it? Able to take a med Without worrying About side-effects Or negative interactions With other meds. Especially SSRI or SNRI For treating My mental health concerns. Taking public transit Without having a asthma attack Or becoming nausea From the different smells Around me. Else Forced to suffer In silence As my apartment building's interior Is painted with Latex paint. Not sure Which is worse My migraines Or the latex fumes headaches. Having to carry around A walking pharmacy Every time I leave my apartment. Just once I want to stop and smell every flower Without worrying About any possible allergies. Else Being stung By a wasp or a hornet. Softly sighing One can dream.
