You're Blocked

You're Blocked

A Poem by therisa
"

My reaction, to finding out someone has blocked me, who I have never read or chatted with.

"
Never understand
Why some people
Feel this strong need
To silence me.

Although
We have never met
Or exchanged pleasantries
Between each other,

As if
My very presence is
Toxic to the Internet
And the sites
You visit.

Are you
So scared of me
And what I represent
You need to create
Your own artificial bubble
To protect yourself
From reality?

Guess
I should feel empowered
But I don't.

Rather
Am saddened
By this fact.

When
I'm trying to reach out
And build bridges
That removes fear
And ignorance
About the Transcommunity

Knowing
I have failed
With one person
To span this gap
Of knowledge.

Some people are just heartless Therisa. Don't take it to heart and don't let them get you down, okay? You're an amazing person and so strong. Ignore the haters. I love you. :)
