The Day Politics Began

The Day Politics Began

A Poem by therisa

Throughout Heaven and Hell
A scream is hear
Which pierces the universe
With it's purity.

Of a lost
Never experienced
Before now
And never will be
Again.

When "Truth" was murdered
For reflecting back
The horrors of existence.

The killers argued
"No one can handle it
Without going insane"
From Truth's intensity
Thus sparing everyone.

Proclaiming
They have
"The one and only"
Word of truth
To live and die by.

Putting to sword
Those opposing them
As steel cage trees
Dot the landscape
Bearing strange fruit.

From afar
Angels do weep
Unable to cleanse the land
Now tainted
By base needs.
