Part Of MeA Poem by therisaPart of my struggles with Learning Disabilities. The outshoot, of an ongoing conversation between Momzilla and I.Can feel my mind Racing away Without any sense Of direction. As I struggle To find the right words Which others will understand What I face On a daily basis. I see Your words Before me. But nothing Makes sense Of what I view. As if You're writing In Hieroglyphics With no Rosetta Stone Available to me For translation. My frustration mounts With each repeated reading I need to do. In grasping The simplest of things Before me. Never mind If I have to listen To someone speak. In having them To repeatedly Say it Over and over Again. Can hear Your mounting frustration Over my inability To get things On the first try. As you disbelieve My answer In explaining My learning disabilities. Not As an excuse But a reason.
