September StormA Poem by therisaJust a storm, in September.Wave after wave Of thunderstorms Washes over me. Each flash of lightening Brightly lights up My spartan apartment. As if It was midday Again. Drowning under Each new wave of rain Coating the land Like a cleansing sheet. Chasing away The last of summer's Tainted breathe From the air.
