Perfect Prison

Perfect Prison

A Chapter by therisa
"

Agoraphobia, and how some people react to it, when hearing this.

"
You do see the war
Which wages
Inside of me
On the psychic battlefield.

And yet
You judge me
By carrying out
Your sentencing
Without hearing my side.

Of the invisible walls
That contain my body
Stronger than
The hardest metal
Known to humanity.

But everyone else
Can walk through it
Like it never existed.

Except
Within my mind.

So frustrated
I want to
Drop "the bomb"
Destroying everything
Just to escape.

Do you understand
The depth of my struggle
To be functional?

Upon reflection
Probably not
Pity.
