Thursday's MusingsA Poem by therisaWhen a mind wanders.Mind lost In a mental fog. Where words are nonsense Sounding like A foreign language Once made sense. Comprehension A lie told To hide our blankness. Like the plastic smile From a salesclerk Trying to sell us Something we don't need. Moving through A sea of disposable items Interchangeable With each other. For a penny Or two Should you have it. As we gasp Upon the very air Used to build Our Utopian world.
