Asking Forgivenss

Asking Forgivenss

A Poem by therisa
"

Struggling to response to reviews receives.

"
Looking at your words
My mind goes blank
As nothing makes senses
To my rattled brain.

Want to cry and scream
My throat raw
At this latest sign
Of an approaching depression
Due soon.

As I want to return
The precious gift
You have given me
By reviewing my poems.

But
A roadblock exist
Within my brain
Size of the Pacific Ocean.

Swallowing
Almost every thought
Which occurs.

Struggling
To share my thoughts
In a honest and fair manner
That respects
Your time and talent,

So
I ask you
Please give me
Some time
As I recover.
