Embracing The Rainbow

Embracing The Rainbow

A Poem by therisa
"

There so many ways, to describe this poem, I can't settle one.

"
"We want lovin' we want laughter again
We want heartbeat
We want madness to end, we want dancin'
We want to run in the streets
We want freedom to live this in peace...."

You say
That you want equality
And yet
Your actions speak
Otherwise.

Equality means
Removing all barriers
Which hinders the rights
Of everyone.

Not just those
You feel are unjust
Or evil
While keeping those
Based upon your fears
And ignorance.

One can't be
Truly free
If you need
To oppose others
Because they're different.

We are
All different
But equal
Where it matters
The most.

Our hearts
Filled with compassion.

I really appreciate this peace and can relate to this. It's very relevant to times now. Great job :)

Thank you, John. Only wished things were different, in the world, we live in.
