Untitled (April 1, 2014)A Chapter by therisawritten after a bout of depressive tears.Steady stream Of hopelessness falls From my eyes. Eroding away My sense of self-worth Like the last Of Winter's snow. Pooling Into smaller puddles Creating a sea of mini-lakes Dotting the soulscape. Should be excited Over the warmer weather Celebrating the end Of a long bitter Winter. But I am not. Burrowing Even deeper Like a rabbit Digging it's warren Into the thawing soil. As part Of my vain attempt To bury myself In total isolation And failing. As life keeps rearing It's ugly head Like an unwanted Dandelion In my soulscape.
