Modelling Raccoon's MaskA Poem by therisastruggling with insomnia.
Most normal people
Have long gone to bed But I'm not normal Far from it. As tonight appears To be another night Where I can Only dream of sleep. Adding another 8 hours To the growing total That I owe. Am scared If I looked At my sleep account Morpheus' sand would bury me Up to my neck. Wonder Does Morpheus charge A rental fee For all of His sand I am storing? Sigh. It's sad When you stop and think An average cat spends More time awake Than I do asleep On most days.
