December SnowA Poem by therisaA dark poem.Frozen tears falling From a cold heart Devoid of compassion And understanding Of others. A bitter cold wind Sweeps across The landscape Freezing one's soul To the core Shattering it. Burying it Deep. Out of sight Out of mind. To the damage done By your malice Under a white blanket. Trimmed by A glossy edge. In which One misstep Will send you falling Into the abyss. So silently No one can hear Your screams When you fall. While several months Will have passed Before any discovery Is made. As the blanket is Pulled back For another year. © 2013 therisaAuthor's Note
