Anatomy Of One Victim

Anatomy Of One Victim

A Poem by therisa
"

My description, of how I became and what it is like, as a recovering PTSD survivor.

"

Tainted memories

Lies accepted

Truths unspoken

Tormented soul.

Struggling family

Happy facade

Increasing despair

Disintegration.

Mental barriers

Suicide attempts

Worsening isolation

Fatalistic.

Depression

Denial

Anxiety attacks

Loner.
