Opportunity Knocks

Opportunity Knocks

A Poem by therisa
"

where I find myself, at the moment, on the cusp of a major decision

"

Across my soul

A wind blows

Harbinger of things

Yet to come.

Of uncertain times

Where the truth is

A finicky creature

Beholden to none

Except itself.

Should I

Be brave

And embrace it

With my entire soul?

Knowing

The risks and rewards

Such action

May bring back

To me.

For life

Cannot get

Any worse

Than it is.
