Anxiety's ToyA Poem by therisahow I felt during an anxiety attack, this morning. Please Take my hand Into your's I beg Of you. I can feel The monster banging At my door Wanting in. Shouting out His various threats Which he promises Awaits me. Can feel My knees buckling As my resolve Weakens. But I cannot surrender To do so Means my doom. Trapped In my apartment With no escape. © 2013 therisaAuthor's Note
