Facing The TruthA Poem by therisaA moment of realizationFind myself Sitting in the dark Mulling things over Best left alone But I cannot. One concerns My ability to open up And let people in Which I do With limited access. For I will Never completely open up Even to My closest friends. As some memories Are just too painful To face Again. These barriers existence Are not reflective Of my mistrust Towards you. Rather My own mistrust Towards myself That I need to re-earn As I complete My healing. © 2013 therisaAuthor's Note
