Sorry, But You're Block
A Poem by therisa
Food For Thought
Go ahead And shun me As it is Your moral right. But I have Always been open About my views And myself. Am sadden No I pity you Better describes My feelings towards you. For your refusal To become An interlocutor In the global debate. Which is Shaping our world.

I know, of a few people, who have blocked me, because of my gender and sexual orientation. This is my response to them. Hoping, maybe, they will realize that their hatred and fear are not worth it.

Small minds cannot always be expanded. It is easier for them to look the other way than have an open dialogue. It reminds me of how many did and some still do react to race, gender and ethnicity. I admire your ability to put your words down for the world to see. I had a wonderful friend who died years ago in a car accident, she was gay, I was straight and we were great friends. This reminded me that today would have been her birthday. Don't give up, your humanity glows brightly for all to see.
