Beginning To Blossom, Again

Beginning To Blossom, Again

A Poem by therisa
"

A small but big step, for me.

"

Am

But a mote of dust

Cast adrift

Upon Life's current.

Learning to live

My Life

One moment

At a time.

Having spent

Too much time

In the shadow

Of fear and hate.

Having forgotten

What true joy means

To experience

Without any taint.

Where

The simplest things

Of everyday life

Are my hardest trials

To embrace.

No longer

Am I alone

Upon my journey.

Taking tentative steps

By opening myself

Up to others

As I learn to trust

Once more.

AWESOME. love the lift at the end. Hopeful - willing to learn to trust. Some people don't regain that ability.

Thank you, Tammy. It's not an easy journey, to walk upon.
