November 20th

A Poem by therisa
"

Another poetic morgue poem, describing this date importance, to the Transcommunity. Marking TransRemembrance Day, for the brothers and sisters, who died violently, whether self-inflicted or by others.

"

Bitter biting fears flow

Down cheeks

As each name

Is read off

By a different person.

Listing their c.o.d.

Like a sharp sword

Thrusted into one’s heart.

Knowing

There’s no return

For them

Ever.

When will it end

This carnage of lives

Taken from us

Before a solution

Is found.

Depend to my battles with depression and anxiety attacks, I haven't attended a memorial, yet, but hope to this year.

So sad, Therisa. And attending something so somber - I can see where it would bring anxiety

Yes, it's a moment filled with sorrow, for the bright lights taken from us, befoe their time.
