Pumping

A plea to both transwoman and ciswoman, against the dangers of injecting silicone directly into one's body. Please stop a friend or a love one from this.

Dear Sisters;

I write this

From my heart

Not filled

With spite or pity.

Rather

With love

And sorrow.

Regarding

Your desperate need

To inject your body

With silicone.

Know too well

The cruel tricks

Genetics plays

Upon one's body.

Unable to pay

For the proper treatment

Needed to alter

Your genes' curse.

You seek

The next best thing

To obtain

The feminine outline.

Never mind

The possible risks

To your long term health

Including death.

As the silicone

Sits heavy

Upon your swollen body.

All done

Without the aid

Of any medical staff

Or equipment.

Just a quick visit

To your nearest pumping party

And x dollars

Later.

You can emerge

With your DIY breasts

And other body parts.

Along with

A huge boost

To your sagging ego.

On my hands

And knees

I beg you

Not to risk your life

For a temporary satisfaction

Like this.

For many transwomen, which this practise, originated, can't afford the expense associated with transitioning. A couple of American girls told me, that it cost $1,000, just to get the bloodwork done, to establish the baseline of their hormones, before getting a prescription. Have been aware of this practice, since the early 1990s, after the PBS documentary on the series, POV.
