When Molasses Are Faster

When Molasses Are Faster

A Poem by therisa
"

Joys of using a networked computer.

"

Round

And round

You go.

Forever

Chasing your tail

In an endless loop.

Each

New cycle

My patience grows

Ever so thinner

With you.

Holding me

As a hostage

In your technological

Clutches.

Until

I want to

Take out my frustration

In a negative way.

Knowing

It will not help

Speed things up

But gives

A brief moment

Of satisfaction.

While

Waiting on

A slow computer.

So much for the computer boom, which promise lightening fast access to the world. Sigh.
