When The Truth Is, A LieA Poem by therisaA young lady was exposed here, posing a victim of abuse, when she wasn't.Can Someone Please tell me. Why Some people Feel this need To fabricate lies About themselves? By Inventing Tragic events Or horrible diseases Plaguing them. In order To callously play With our heartstrings For their tainted needs. As we Impulsively rush To their aid Falling hook line And sinker For their subterfuge. Like Gullible children Offered free candy We accept The bait. Often Without thinking About the possibilities Of a con game. I know As a transgendered person The dangers and damages Which these Trolls Can do. Playing Upon the vulnerability And generosity Of society With their honeyed Tongue. © 2013 therisaReviews
