Breaking The Barriers

Breaking The Barriers

A Poem by therisa

Sigh.

Another
Blank page
Stares back
Angrily.

Daring me
To violate
It's purity.

With
The bold strokes
Of my pen
Sliding across it.

As
The flowing ink
Tries to liberate
So many troubling
Thoughts.

Long
Held hostage
Within the confides
Of my mind.

While
I seek out
A final resolution
For them.

Thank you, Peter. Never thought, a poem about writer's block, could be dark. :)
