15th Of NovemberA Poem by therisaDay of release.Oh dad How I miss you And your support arms Which embraced me During my times Of distress. When I needed someone To raise my spirits That had sunk Below Death Valley. As The years have past I find myself Standing before you At the grave site. Pouring My troubled heart To your earthly remains Hoping beyond hope For an answer To the question. The Very question Which has shaped My life. Altering How I view myself And whom I am As a person. That Rainy day In 2006. When I realized My true nature As a transsexual. A Woman trapped Inside of A man's body. Could Stop living my life As a lie to myself And others.
