Depression

Countless
Shattered dreams
Lay all around me.


Like
A thousand
Tiny glass shards
Severely cutting
Into my soul.


Slowly
Bleeding out
Desire and hope
Of a future.


Whereas
Healing appears
As a distance rumour
So far away
And out of reach.
