Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by therisa
"

My relationship with isolation.

"

You
Are my salvation
And healer.

While
At the same time
My destroyer
And damnation.

Seeking solace
From a world
Often leaves me
Drained
On all levels.

By
Nature
I am introverted
Scared to stand out
Before others.

Yet
I yearn
For the time
Which this
Is not so.

To
Freely move
Among others
And not be scared
Of anything.

But
For now
This only exist
As a dream.
