My Juicy Little Secret

My Juicy Little Secret

A Poem by *joy*

It’s my juicy little secret

To basically delight
I hold an apple in my hand
Come close to take a bite

I’m a precious little angel
Gold haired little queen
I’m much sweeter than my secret
A dish of French cuisine

Come , you’re on the edge
Your tempted by the things I bare
Come now, listen closely

Listen, let me share

Let my lips caress the words
Hear me hint at things to pass

I’ll bat my eyes so you won’t see
A girl of cracking glass

Here now, I will tell you
A secret you must keep
But first, swear you'll be gentle
And that you'll never leave

I’m no heavenly little angel
I’m no precious golden queen
I’m just a tempting little morsel
A mist behind a screen

Now you know that I’m a lie
My secret has been told
So, remember what you promised
Because I'll never let you go

I liked this poem it had body, soul and mind in total unity you offer the temptation of a juicy fruit one that can be plucked that is ripe for the picking, the shine on that apple makes me want to take a bite myself but for fear that it may be laced with poison like in the film THE WIZARD OF OZ.
I think you have a wonderful cultivated mind but in a human shell trapped in a mortal world where angels no longer exist but in our escapists minds perhaps in the future world or AFTERLIFE,nice going kiddo

I really enjoyed this poem of yours. You defiantly got a nag for poems. The flow was good and the format perfect. You chose your words wisely and that always helps.
