I can see several different ways of interpreting this. Is the one being punished the beautiful one, or the one looking?
It could be a statement about how those who are beautiful have things they need to hide, or things they need to put up with because of their beauty, or that those who see it don't realize what they're missing by only seeing the beauty.

honestly, its all up to the viewer point of view.., but what i visioned whilst inking it out,... was that people are always looking at "beautiful" beings, as them having it all.... but at what price do they pay??. also it goes to the person whose looking at the beautiful people and comparing themselves to them, but what the "looker" doesn't seem to understand is that everyone has something that another seeks or wishes to have in possession.

Do you mean beauty is rather a curse than a blessing? Or anything beautiful has a dark side, as well? Your words provoke contemplation which is good but somehow read too opaque for me.

ill prefer that beauty has a dark side as well, but its all up to the way you Visioned it Vanessa there is no wrong answer, nor any wrong way at seeing something differently. Yes beauty is seen as a gift to some, but what of those stereotypes where the 'beautiful' people have it all?, no one ever wonders what punishment they face.... because they are too distracted by their beauty.
