I really like this. I understand and respect the differences between religious and non religious people, but some part of me wanted to argue against the second half.
It makes sense to be afraid of the dark, since one cannot know what's in it. But if someone is afraid of the light, don't you think you should take a second look if you're not? Our senses can be deceiving.
Again, not trying to start an argument, just the thoughts that came to me after reading this.

If I may play the devils advocate a little, perhaps an atheist would posit that they aren't afraid of the light: they just don't believe they need God to shine one for them...
At face value, though - this is some light relief (pardon the pun) :)
