panic

panic

A Poem by E. Solórzano
"

The state of one can influence the state of others.

"
sometimes I tell myself
Don’t Panic
but it’s all frantic
like all those lines
that act like words
in my notebook,
The Panic Notebook.
My Panic Notebook,
this goes to you
cause’ it’s like a hook
of something I should always do
when I Panic
and I grab the pen
in all frantic
Because I must not
I should not
I can not
Panic.
It can be anything
it can be nothing
because that’s all I think
and my cheeks go pink
from all that Panic
that wants to come out
like water falls
maybe even when it’s all false.
I still ask myself
why do I Panic?
even when the words in My Panic Notebook read
“Dont Panic”
I try
I try
I try
And I cry
I cry
I cry
But I must not
I should not
I can not
I do not Panic.
Dear Panic Notebook,
don’t let me Panic
please, don’t let me.
I must not Panic
because then He Panics
and They Panic
and Dad Panics
and I Panic.
Please, Panic,
I beg you to
do not Me,
do not Me,
do not Me.
Because Panic must not
Panic should not
Panic can not
Panic do not Me.
