When we win

When we win

A Poem by Shannon

we've all been through hell
We all crash and burn
We all try to tell
Whats around the next turn

And try as we might
We never can seem
To win the fight
thats made our senses ream

But on we struggle
And on we strive
Through each muddy puddle
We thank god we're alive

And we dance in the rain
And we cry at the songs
That help us through pain
As we run on and on

But smile for me
Dearest of friend
Cause one day you'll see
the darkness will end

The sun will shine through
And when that moment comes
We'll dance, me and you
and grow like the mums

In our own hideaway
Garden of light
We're we'll spend the day
when we win the fight...

Ok, so this has a few errors, mainly capitalisation issues. But that aside, I liked the rhyme style here, and its message. The feeling I get from this is an overall positive one, which I like. "Cause one day you'll see the darkness will end"....this line in particular spoke to me. I enjoyed reading your words....

This is fantastic. Honestly one of my favorites. It runs true and deep and holds meaning untold. I am nearly speechless.
