Blank Paged MelodyA Poem by Shannon
Write me a picture only i can see
Seal it with a kiss for me then fold it up and throw it from the highest tree and let it sail over the sea And when i catch your paper plane I'll go out and read it in the rain And if the picture doesn't wash away I'll continue to read it every day And i'll sit and listen in a quite glen To the whispers it mutters now and then And it'll tell me who you are Down to every blink and every scar But then it'll tell me how you live How you dance, how you give And maybe if i pay attention closely I'll understand your Blank Paged Melody © 2010 Shannon |
