You say i hide
Beneath a veil But is your assumption Truly real? For perhaps i dance Beneath a cloak The only movement you could see Was the vibrations as i spoke Maybe i waltz Beneath a mask with a devious wink As i go about my task Or maybe i whirl In the shadows of day Eluding your sight As i dance and sway Look beneath the cracked glass Turn the pages thus far displayed Withered parchment likes to hide Truths otherwise delayed Be it facade or wall I look out from behind None may know all That goes through my mind © 2010 Shannon |
