Holy Palmers Kiss

Holy Palmers Kiss

A Poem by Shannon

Palm to palm, holy palmers kiss

And be that as it may

Dear sir do answer me this

Twas it not just the other day

When rose red lips

Moved in synchronization

With fiery tips

And haughty desperation

Like dancing

With a red hot branding iron

Tongues prancing

Ah, how we did yearn

For the forbidden stroke

Of strangers lust

Fanning the smoke

Up until the bust

And where my good sir

Has this passion gone?

The emotions that used to stir

That fleeting spark fawn

It seems that the embers

 Have smoldered at last

Leaving those feverish Decembers

Far In our past…

R&J was the first thing I thought of...I get the feeling that R&J is what you are so vaguely yet so plainly describing...I love love love....

Deep emotional write. Just beautifully worded and vibrant with feelings. The visuals leave my imagination in a stir. Fantastic.
