A woman who fights backA Poem by Shannon
Tears in her eyes
Spiteful words in her mouth One relationship That just went south Stinging red skin On her pretty little cheek And he still has no idea She's really not weak His hand flashed again And met skin as she gasped But that anger fueled blow Would be his last She picked herself up off the ground And a single shot rang out And he replaced her on the ground With a dismal shout You thought you could break me You thought i would crack But baby, you just weren't ready For a woman who fights back © 2010 ShannonReviews
