Memories

A Poem by Shannon

Nobody ever said it was easy
No one ever said it was smart
But those are the things you chance
When you open up you're heart

Sure he makes you smile
And if it ends, don't forget
anything that makes you smile
Is childish to regret

So if it all ends badly
Or if it lasts for centuries
Hold fast to those moments
cause someday all you'll have left

Are MEMORIES. . .

This is a beautiful write. Very insightful full of meaning, both obvious and hidden. Thanks for sharing.
