I've become...

I've become...

A Poem by Shannon

I've become so afraid
That all the stars
have begun to fade

beyond the glow of my headlights

I've become so misled
By the these theories and laws
All jumbled inside my head

beyond the reach of my consciousness

I've become so alone
secretly wanting what i can't have
beneath my  heart of stone

beyond the average popularity contest

I've become so distraught
not knowing where to turn
Because all that i've been taught

Is beyond the ability to be put into words...

Shannon
haha, experimental, i was kinda hearing it in a kind of sing-songy style, like an "Owl City" song almost.

Really good write here. The experiment was a success. I like the random thought type of write you did here. Expressing feelings and translating them to a self examination. Priceless.
