Cry me a river...

Cry me a river...

A Poem by Shannon
"

from the phrase "cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it"

"
Go ahead and cry me a river
because we're over and done
No, i hold no anger
but you just weren't the one

Build me a bridge
and get over it please
Because i can't stand the image
of you begging on your knees

Burn the bridge
Let it go up in flames
Because the fire between has gone out
but there's no reason to point blames

now walk away
and don't look back
This love has gone astray
and the night is slowly turning black...

A bit harsh towards whoever it is about, but nevertheless a good personal write. I like reading personal write's a lot. It's just like looking at a map of someones soul. But, if you are planning on actually doing this in real life to someone, maybe make it less harsh... :)

Good write. Blunt and to the point. Nice even flow makes it easy to read. Even though it is 'pointed',anger does not flow from this. Just stated surety.
