Humble PrideA Poem by Raunak AgarwalThis poem talks about the need to appreciate oneself, once in a while.
Often! More Often than not,
we miss the gratifying gratitude, The bliss that's been bestowed to us. In this constant bickering rue of race, Just not to miss/lose the pace, We prefer 'King' over the 'Ace', Such a nut-case, But isn't that the human base? But still, Sometimes, Seldom than Often, We should pause, And hear the applause, The laughter of shine, The Santa of Claus. And not whine in the perpetual greed of more, And let us stop the rotation of core, Just to wait and watch our soar, And get drenched in that sublime downpour. And Rejoice our moment, Our moment of us, Caress thy hair, Amidst all the fuss... It ain't wrong to appreciate thy once in a. while, Neither wrong to close that channel file, And to live that moment, 'the one for me', By me, to me, myself by thee... Clarion be this call, To let it fall, And wait in slo-mo, Witness that gall. It's also you, to seek yourself, And praise thy spirit, thy power to delve. And then let the ball rolling, Let the pause start, With my smirk of satisfied, Roll my cart...
