They're ComingA Poem by therageA poem about post traumatic stress disorder and the horror of haunting memoriesI thought I was safe in here, thought I'd escaped to the sane, but oh how wrong was I all my efforts simply in vain.
Each night I run into shadows in hope of finding some light but that is a silly philosophy participating in a losing fight.
I am lost in the darkness again waiting to be devoured and slain but all these haunting monsters are masks for my psychological pain.
Each night I'll run, but never escape memories are just meant to be so I'll rest my weary head right here and just let them come destroy me. © 2011 therageAuthor's Note
